About the Artist:
 
David Hewitt has an infectious enthusiasm for enjoying the natural beauty of our planet and the stunning architectural works people have dramatically placed upon it.
 
By volunteering overseas, (a veteran of some 40+ countries), he has had the good fortune of having captured a fabulous variety of images. Preferring to keep his photographs raw and fresh, David takes great pride in presenting his photographic subjects exactly as they appear.
 
Following University, David worked in the corporate services industry before turning to teaching. In recent years he has combined his responsibilities at school with opportunities to qualify as a Ski Instructor, Rescue Diver and British Mountain Leader. David was first presented with his Fathers’ Pentax as a child and ever since then, he has never failed to include his cameras and lenses when packing his essential kit list.
 
David still travels extensively, and together with his wife, are both engaged in charitable work in Fiji, Panama and of course at home in England. They continue to lead fundraising initiatives for disadvantaged children and for under-privileged people in need of healthcare.
 
Never happier than exploring the path less travelled, composing images, writing stories and laughing at his own misadventures, his photographs transport us to the dramatic landscapes and inspiring environments he so loves spending time in.
